PROMPT E

I chose this image of two magnets resisting each other. I think it is a good symbolic representation of the scene as a whole because it shows how the Montague and Capulet families are so incompatible. They are constantly quarreling and causing a commotion whenever they meet and never does one welcome the other.

PROMPT G
Just before the feast was to begin, the loyal nurse called for me saying my mother wished to speak to me. It may be about the preparation for the feast as to how I must behave, but I am unsure. I soon arrived and my mother proceeded to talk to me about marriage and what I thought of it. But the thought never crossed my mind, not once. She then began to tell me that when she was almost my age, I am fourteen years old, she gave birth to me. That thought made me think that if I got married, then many things would change in my life. I would become a woman and have to give birth to a child as my mother did. But it also makes me ponder if I really want to look after another life and take on that responsibility in the first place. Really, the thought of marriage rather alarmed me and caught me a bit off guard. My mother continued and eagerly told me that I must begin to think about marriage because the "valiant Paris," a noble kinsman to the prince, has expressed an interest in me. I am truly flattered, however, I am unsure if I will love him because I have never looked upon him with the same interest before. I sincerely do not want my caring mother to become upset, so I will definitely see what may come to occur. I dutifully replied to her that I will look upon Paris at the feast to see if I might love him. I do hope when I do marry one day, it will be with someone I love. After all, love is a special and delicate thing and mustn't be tampered with by being forced or teared apart.
