Act II, Overcome

Prompt A: Mercutio and Benvolio go searching for Romeo because they haven't seen him but they do not know that he has snuck off to see Juliet. Romeo climbs her fence and speaks to Juliet from the shadows while she calls to him from her balcony. Romeo visits Friar Lawrence while he is gardening and tells him of his new found love. This confuses Friar because Romeo had previously told him of his love for Rosaline, but he is enthused with the idea of marriage because he thinks it might be able to end the feud between the two families. While Mercutio and Benvolio are talking about Tylbt's duel request for Romeo, Romeo is reunited with them and the begin to question his disappearance, blaming it on his love for Rosaline. Juliet's nurse interrupts asking for Romeo, and Romeo tells the nurse to inform Juliet of his wedding plans and for her to meet him at friar Lawrence's to get married.
