Romeo and Juliet Act I Scenes 4-5

Prompt D) In scene 5, Tybalt recognizes Romeo's voice and sends for his sword, but is stopped by Lord Capulet who says, "I would not for the wealth of all this town Here in my house do him disparagement Therefore be patient, take no note of him." I did not expect Lord Capulet to say this and to let Romeo get away with staying at the party. This really shocked me because I thought the Capulets were all troublemakers since they started a fight on the streets of Verona in scene 1. This scene shows that Lord Capulet is not like his nephew, Tybalt. He is more understanding and wants to avoid trouble.

Prompt C)
Romeo- Why did you eventually decide to go to the party even though you were very reluctant?
Mercutio- What is the purpose of your very long speech in this play?
Lord Capulet- Why did you decide to leave Romeo alone at the party?
Tybalt- Why do you want to confront Romeo so much about coming to the party unlike Lord Capulet who lets it go?
Juliet- Do you still love Romeo even though he is a Montague?
